The Detroit Red Wings have a tradition that allows kids to join the Wings on the ice during the national anthem. The kids stand with the Wings during the anthem and then they get off the ice so the big kids can play the game. This kid though didn't want anything to do with that though.

No one can argue that if you were that young that you would want to milk the situation just like this kid did. What is even better is that players from both teams start talking to him as he takes the longest path possible to the Zamboni entrance to get off the ice. This kid was getting his fifteen minutes of fame and there wasn't anything anyone was going to do about it.
Besides, there is a reason that teams bring out the midget teams to play during intermissions; there is nothing cuter than a kid skating around in hockey equipment.
