After four games to kick off play on Friday in the 2011 NCAA hockey tournament, the first round will conclude on Saturday with four more games. This time, it's action in the Northeast Regional and the Midwest Regional.
Today's schedule:
Northeast Regional -- Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, NH
No. 1 Miami vs. No. 4 New Hampshire (4 p.m., ESPNU)
No. 2 Merrimack vs. No. 3 Notre Dame (7:30 p.m., ESPN3.com)
Midwest Regional -- Resch Center, Green Bay, WI
No. 1 North Dakota vs. No. 4 RPI (1:30 p.m., ESPN3.com)
No. 2 Denver vs. No. 3 Western Michigan (5 p.m., ESPN3.com)
The finals in the East and West Regionals will also be held tonight between the winners of last night's first round games. The winners will advance to the Frozen Four, held in St. Paul, Minn. on April 7 and April 9.
In the East, No. 1 Yale will take on No. 3 Minnesota-Duluth (6:30 p.m., ESPNU). In the West, No. 2 Michigan will take on No. 4 Colorado College (9 p.m., ESPNU).
