Canucks Vs. Blackhawks Score: Duncan Keith Gives Chicago 1-0 Lead

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Chicago Blackhawks are still hoping for their first win against the Vancouver Canucks in the 2011 Stanley Cup playoffs, having fallen two games behind already. So far so good, as the Blackhawks lead 1-0 at the end of the first period.

Duncan Keith got Chicago's home crowd fired up with a power play goal with about seven minutes to go in the first, taking advantage of an assist by Jonathan Toews and a penalty on Christian Ehrhoff. That two-minute docking was picked up for tripping Marcus Kruger.

Vancouver has already dealt with eight penalty minutes, while Chicago has yet to visit the box. Home cookin'! The Blackhawks are dominating faceoffs 12 to six and have taken six more shots on goal.

Ryan Kesler leads Vancouver in shots on goal, with three.
