PHOTO: Cory Schneider Injured On Michael Frolik Penalty Shot

In their previous two playoff games, the Vancouver Canucks pulled Roberto Luongo after he allowed far too many goals, 10 in total, and went with Cory Schneider. In Game 6, the Canucks decided to start Schneider, who allowed just two goals entering the third period.

But then Chicago received a penalty shot after Michael Frolik was taken down while he was ahead of his Vancouver defenders. On the ensuing play, Schneider injured his leg as Frolik scored to tie the game at three:

The Blackhawks had been 0-for-3 on playoff penalty shots before Frolik put this one in the net. With Luongo be able to overcome his recent struggles and help the Canucks take this series in six games?

This game has seen some hard hits. Dave Bolland had a hard hit on Dan Hamhuis in the first period, leading to a Chicago goal. But at the end of the second period, Brian Campbell cross-checked Henrik Sedin. Both received penalties, the latter for diving.
