After two weeks of waiting, the 2011 Frozen Four is finally here, and this weekend we'll name an NCAA tournament champion. First, we have to narrow the field one more time, and that's what Thursday's National Semifinal round is for.
This year's event is being held at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., the home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild. The times are set, as are the broadcasters and all the TV information.
Both semifinal games will be called by the great (or not, depending on your opinion) Gary Thorne on ESPN2 in HD and ESPN3.com. The schedule for Thursday's action:
Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (24-10-6) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (25-13-5), 5 p.m. ET
Michigan Wolverines (28-10-4) vs. North Dakota Fighting Sioux (32-8-3), 8:30 p.m. ET
The winners will face off on Saturday afternoon back at Xcel Energy Center in the National Championship. The game will be at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN in HD.
