Bruins Vs. Flyers, Game 3: Philadelphia Pushed To The Brink Again

A year later, the Boston Bruins find themselves in the same position against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Zdeno Chara had two goals and an assist, David Krejci added a goal and two assists and Nathan Horton had a goal and an assist to give Boston a 5-1 win and a 3-0 lead in this Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Flyers blog Broad Street Hockey can't sugarcoat it, Philly played ugly.

Tonight's loss was ugly in just about every way, perhaps even uglier than the 7-3 loss in Game 1 against the Boston Bruins. You're likely going to read a lot about the Flyers effort and the inability to show up in such a huge game, but you're not going to get that here.

They got off to a poor start and looked like they just weren't ready to play at 7:07 p.m at TD Garden tonight. But that's really so atypical of this Flyers team, isn't it? It's frustrating when we're so pumped up for the game, it starts, and it seems like the players themselves just don't care at all.

The silver lining for the Flyers is that they were in the same exact position last year, down 0-3, before coming all the way back to win the series. Can they give a repeat performance?
