VIDEO: Winnipeg Jets, Quebec Nordiques Make Appearance On Daily Show With Jon Stewart

Believe it or not, America doesn't get most of it's imported oil from the Middle East. Instead, most of it comes from the vast oil fields of Western Canada, and if as a hockey fan you didn't realize they had oil in Canada, perhaps you should think about that hockey team that plays in Edmonton.

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart did a fierce expose on our "Canadian Oilverlords" on Thursday night, analyzing the hold they have over us and why they hate us so much. As it turns out, it all comes back to hockey.

After chatting with an oil baron named "Drew," as he's been trained to call himself when speaking with the enemy, reporter Wyatt Cenak uncovered Canadian propaganda and even spoke to a few real live Canadians on why "America has become the scapegoat for all Canada's problems."

Cenak: Why are you angry at America?

Guy in Tim Horton's drive-thru: Lotta reasons, No. 1, [looks at shirt], Vancouver Canucks.

Guy in Leafs jacket: We want the Nordiques back.

Another Canadian: You took the Winnipeg Jets. That was a bit too much.

Leafs guy: Go Leafs Go. You a hockey fan?

Cenak: No, I'm American.

Here's the hilarious video:
