2011 NHL Draft Results: New Jersey Devils Select Adam Larsson With 4th Pick

With the 4th pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, the New Jersey Devils select Adam Larsson, a defenseman from Skelleftea HC of the Swedish Elite League.

Larsson is a big, hulking defenseman, the top-ranked European skater according to Central Scouting and the top-ranked defenseman in the 2011 draft class. He has fantastic speed and incredible offensive ability, and he'll automatically improve the [team name] power play, should he choose to escape the final year of his Swedish contract.

In SB Nation's first-round mock draft, Larsson was picked first overall by the Edmonton Oilers, but fell into the Devils laps at number four
