The KHL has a loaded schedule with 10 games being played on Saturday. While there have been a few games on ESPN3, as well as one game on ESPN2, none of these games will be broadcast. Of the NHL players who are playing in the KHL due to the lockout, there will be 19 in action on Saturday.
Here is Saturday's schedule of KHL games (all times Eastern):
Avangard Omsk Region vs. Dinamo Riga, 6 a.m.
Avangard has Nikita Nikitin of the Columbus Blue Jackets on their roster, and he has been a minor contributor through six games as he has recorded just one assist.
Barys Astana vs. Spartak Moscow, 7 a.m.
Astana has a pair of NHL players suiting up for them in Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman and Nik Antropov who is a center for the Winnipeg Jets. Hedman has played in five games and has five assists, while Antropov has a goal and an assist, also in five games.
Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg vs. SKA Saint Petersburg, 7 a.m.
Traktor Chelyabinsk vs. Atlant Moscow Region, 7 a.m.
Metallurg Magnitogorsk vs. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, 7 a.m.
There are three NHL players on Lokomotiv in goalie Semyon Varlamov, center Artem Anisimov, and defenseman Dmitry Kulikov. Varlamov has seen time in the net for three games, and so far he has allowed seven goals. Anisimov has not found the back of the net, but he does has five assists through nine games and Kulikov has a goal and an assist in five games.
Salavat Yulaev Ufa vs. Slovan Bratislava, 7 a.m.
Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk vs. CSKA Moscow, 9 a.m.
CSKA has a trio of NHL players playing for them in Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Bryzgalov and Mikhail Grabovski. Datsyuk is having a great season so far with three goals and five assists through six games. Bryzgalov has only seen action in the goal for two games, both were loses but he did stop 48 shots. Grabovski has one goal in five games.
Ak Bars Kazan vs. Lev Praha, 9 a.m.
Vityaz Chekhov vs. Donbass Donetsk, 9 a.m.
Dynamo Moscow vs. Metallurg Novokuznetsk, 9 a.m.
