KHL standings 2012: Dynamo Moscow, Traktor Chelyabinsk top the league


Several NHL players are helping KHL teams to successful seasons.

Dynamo Moscow, which is led by Capitals star Alex Ovechkin, is at the top of the KHL Western Conference standings, while Traktor Chelyabinsk leads the East.

While the NHL lockout continues, many of the league's players have traveled overseas. Along with Ovechkin, several notable NHL players are contributing to KHL teams, including Semyon Varlamov, Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Kovalchuk, Zdeno Chara, Ilya Bryzgalov and Pekka Rinne.
