With the NHL lockout still in full swing, here is a look at the Swiss National League "A" standings.
Genève Servette currently holds sole possession of first place in the Swiss National League "A" standings with 35 points through 15 games. Recording 11 regulation wins, Genève is six points ahead of second place, which is currently shared by the Zürcher Schlittschuh Club Lions and Fribourg-Gottéron, both at 29 points.
Genève is aided by the help of locked out NHL star Logan Couture of the San Jose Sharks, who is currently producing at a point-per-game pace by registering 10 points (three goals, seven assists) during his stay with the club. In addition, the club has the help of Montreal Canadiens defenseman Yannick Weber who has recorded seven points (three goals, four assists) in 12 games.
Fourth place is occupied by Lugano, which sits two points back of second place. The team has received an offensive boost from Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron, who has recorded 11 points (six goals, five assists) in five games played.
