The NHLPA wants to meet with the league, but it seems unlikely that one will happen.
The NHLPA has requested a meeting with the league on Wednesday, but the chances of one happening are not good, at least according to NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly.
Bill Daly says the union has expressed a willingness to meet but isn't going to table a proposal: "What would we be meeting about?"

According to Daly, the union indicated that they were "not interested" in the proposal that the NHL made last Tuesday and would not be presenting a new proposal of their own at the desired meeting. The NHL reportedly would like for the next meeting with the union to be an endpoint for the lockout, meaning the two sides may be viewing the negotiations to be in two different stages.
The NHL's last proposal offered a 50/50 revenue split, but the two sides are still reportedly far apart on that issue as well as a number of others. The league, according to reports, is still hoping to resolve the lockout imminently in order to squeeze in an 82-game schedule.
