2012 KHL schedule: 3 KHL games scheduled for Saturday

The Kontinental Hockey League schedule continues on Saturday with six teams in action.

Six Kontinental Hockey League teams will be in action Saturday as the 2012 KHL schedule continues. With the NHL lockout ongoing, a few players with NHL experience will be on the ice Saturday.

In the first game of the day, Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk will face Atlant Moscow Region. The game will feature two players with NHL ties as Anton Khudobin of the Boston Bruins plays for Atlant and Edmonton's Nail Yakupov plays for Neftekhimik.

Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, which is one of the top teams in the KHL's Western Conference, will face Severstal Cherepovets on Saturday. Lokomotiv has three NHL players on its roster including Semyon Varlamov from Colorado, Artem Anisimov of Columbus and Dmitry Kulikov of Florida. Severstal's roster includes Dallas Stars center Tom Wandell.

In the final game of the day, Slovan Bratislava will face Metallurg Novokuznetsk. Metallurg does not have any players with NHL ties on its roster, but Slovan's roster inludes Andrej Sekera from the Buffalo Sabers and Lubomir Visnovsky of the New York Islanders.
