Three games are on the slate in the Kontinental Hockey League on Friday, and three NHL players will be in the mix as a result of the ongoing NHL lockout.
Salavat Yulaev, which doesn't have a player from the NHL on its roster, squares off against Neftekhimik, where Nail Yakupov, the first pick of the 2012 draft, of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers is currently on the roster.
In the second contest of the day, Spartak takes on Severstal in a game that will feature no NHL talent.
The last of the day's scheduled games has the most NHL players (two) and pits Dinamo Riga, current home of left winger Kaspars Daugavins of the NHL's Ottawa Senators, against Vityaz, where the Montreal Canadiens' defenseman Andrei Markov currently plays.
On Thursday, the NHL officially called off the first two weeks of the regular season as the lockout continues to drag on.
