The Kings right winger is the latest NHL star to take his talents to Switzerland as he has inked a deal with the Zurich Lions, according to an announcement made by the Swiss club.

Los Angeles Kings right winger and team captain Dustin Brown has become the latest high-profile NHL player to sign with a Swiss hockey club, as the 27-year-old has inked a deal with the Zurich Lions, according to an announcement from the Swiss team.

The Lions, who are the defending Swiss league champions, are coached by former Kings coach Marc Crawford, who took over for Bob Hartley following Zurich's championship campaign last season. Brown will join former NHL players Ryan Shannon, Jeff Tambellini and Matt Lashoff on the Lions' roster.

Brown scored 22 goals and had 32 assists for the Kings during the 2011-12 season, and added eight goals and 12 assists in 20 postseason games on the team's road to the Stanley Cup. The winger is expected to leave for Zurich on Nov. 7 and should make his first appearance on the ice for the Lions on Nov. 13 when the team returns from break.
