2012 Swiss Hockey standings: Genève leads National League by 8 points

Hockey club Genève-Servette currently hold sole possession of first place in the Swiss National League A standings.

The team has amassed 48 points through 22 games played and currently possess an eight point lead over the second place Zürcherer Schlittschuh Club Lions who have recorded 40 points in 24 games played. Third place SC Bern are three points behind ZSC Lions for second and 11 points back of Genève for first.

EV Train is in possession of fourth place having amassed 37 points in 22 games played. Fifth place HC Lugano is two points back of Train, having assembled 35 points in 22 games played. Lugano has currently scored the most goals in the league, registering 79, while Genève is in second with 75 goals for. The first place club also has the best goal differential in the league with +24.
