Team Sweden have unveiled its selection camp roster for the 2013 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, which will take place in Ufa, Russia, from Dec. 26 until Jan. 5. Sweden won the tournament last year for the first time in 31 years and will be looking to win back-to-back titles. The World Junior Championships feature the world's best players under the age of 20.
Coach Roger Rönnberg returns behind the bench for Sweden, as do six players from last year's roster. However, three key players won't be making the trip due to injuries. Oscar Klefbom was named an All-Star for his effort's in the 2012 Juniors, but will miss this year's tournament with a shoulder injury. Jonas Brodin, who plays for the Houston Aeros of the AHL, will miss the tournament with a broken clavicle. Mika Zibanejad, a goal scorer who plays for the AHL's Binghamton Senators, cannot attend the tournament because the Senators organization refuses to release him to international duty.
