The college hockey selection show begins at 12 p.m ET on Sunday. 16 teams will be selected to participate in NCAA's national tournament.
It's Selection Sunday in NCAA hockey, and the 2012 college hockey bracket will be unveiled at 12 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon on ESPNU. John Buccigross, Barry Melrose and former Michigan defenseman Aaron Ward will host the program, on which 16 teams will be announced as tournament participants.
We know the auto-bids, as follows:
- ECAC Hockey: Union
- Atlantic Hockey: Air Force
- CCHA: Western Michigan
- WCHA: North Dakota
- Hockey East: Boston College
From there, the at-large bids will be determined by the Pairwise. The final rankings as of the conclusion of Saturday's action sits as follows. Auto-bids are in bold.

- North Dakota
- Miami (Ohio)
- Ferris State
- Minnesota Duluth
- Minnesota
- Boston University
- Maine
- Denver
- UMass-Lowell
- Cornell

We don't know exactly how the seeds will fall, which matchups will be final and where each team will play, but that's why we watch the selection show. It begins at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, Mar. 18 on ESPNU.
