VIDEO: Who Is The Stanley Cup Named After?

The Stanley Cup is named after Frederick Stanley, the 16th Earl of Derby who served as Governor-General of Canada in the 1890s (hence "Lord Stanley's Cup"). But how many people affiliated with the NHL actually know that? I went to the NHL's unveiling of a 21-foot-tall Stanley Cup water fountain in Times Square to find out. SPOILER: winning the Stanley Cup does not mean you learn anything about its namesake.
