Three series featuring higher seeds knotted up with underdogs head to game 3 Monday night.

The 2012 NHL Playoffs have lived up to the hype -- you know, unless you're one of those hockey fans who likes neither lots of goals, overtime finishes, nor fights, in which case the playoffs have been pretty awful. Three series have their third game tonight.

Each series has a similar pattern: New York, Boston, and St. Louis are all either No. 1 or No. 2 seeds, but all three find themselves tied with the home-ice advantage shifting to the underdog for game three. The puck drops in Rangers-Senators and Bruins-Capitals at 7:30 Eastern, while Blues-Sharks will begin at 10.

Here's the complete schedule:

7:30 p.m. ET -- Game 3, Eastern Conference Quarterfinals | series tied, 1-1
National TV: CBC, NBC Sports Network, RDS2 | Local TV, NESN, CSN-MA

No. 8 Ottawa Senators vs. No. 1 New York Rangers
