The Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings can become the first two teams to make it to conference semifinals with wins on Wednesday.

Wednesday night could end two 2012 NHL playoffs series. And both would have to end in upsets and sweeps by the lower seed.

In the Eastern Conference, that would mean the Philadelphia Flyers continuing their offensive onslaught and dispatching the Pittsburgh Penguins; in the Western Conference, it would mean the Los Angeles Kings finishing the shock of the Quarterfinals and sweeping the defending conference champion Vancouver Canucks. The Flyers and Penguins meet at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, while the Kings host the Canucks at 10 p.m. Eastern.

The night's third game has the New York Rangers coming off a dominant performance by Henrik Lundqvist that secured a 2-1 series lead over the Ottawa Senators and looking to set up an elimination game for Ottawa at Madison Square Garden in Game 5. The puck drops in that contest at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
