Dwight King of the Los Angeles Kings (yeah) hit Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo in Game 1 between the two teams. Pietrangelo is a huge piece of the St. Louis d-corps, and he's not playing in Game 2 as a result of the hit. There was the question of whether or not King would face supplementary discipline for the play, but he did not.
That doesn't mean he wouldn't have to face the long arm of ... um, B.J. Crombeen.
It was a fairly even fight, if not a win for King. The two spent most of the bout wrasslin' around, but both guys deserve credit: Crombeen for standing up to King and King for answering the bell when challenged.
