The Ottawa Senators and New York Rangers begin their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series on Thursday. The surprising Sens will look to upset the East's best club in the top-seeded Rangers.
The New York Rangers are certainly the favorite heading into their series with the Ottawa Senators. The Blueshirts have jumped from middle-of-the-road in the Eastern Conference to the very top this season and they'll begin their quest for their first Stanley Cup since 1994 on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
The Senators, meanwhile, shocked the NHL world by advancing to the postseason this year under new head coach Paul MacLean. Can they upset the best team in the conference? Only time will tell.
