The Phoenix Coyotes won their division for the first time ever, and against the Chicago Blackhawks in Round 1 of the 2012 NHL playoffs, they'll try to win a series for the first time as well.

The Phoenix Coyotes still don't know if this will be their last season in the desert, but if it indeed turns out that way, they can at least say they're Pacific Division Champions. Phoenix won their division for the first time in history on the final day of the regular season, and they'll try to do something else for the first time in history over these next two weeks: Win a playoff series.

By drawing the No. 3 seed, however, they'll face off against the very tough Chicago Blackhawks, a team with plenty of playoff experience that actually finished with more points than their first round opponent. Here's the entire first round schedule:

Thursday, April 12 10 p.m. Chicago at Phoenix NBC Sports Network, TSN
Saturday, April 14 10 p.m. Chicago at Phoenix NBC Sports Network, TSN
Tuesday, April 17 9 p.m. Phoenix at Chicago CNBC, TSN
Thursday, April 19 8 p.m. Phoenix at Chicago CNBC, TSN
*Saturday, April 21 10 p.m. Chicago at Phoenix NBC Sports Network, TSN
