For the third time in five seasons, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers are set to meet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Who will survive in 2012?
It's the third time since 2008 that the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins have seen each other in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, as if they needed to add more fuel to their already bitter cross-state rivalry.
Both teams have overcome tall odds to reach the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds in the Eastern Conference in 2011-12. The Penguins overcame the lack Sidney Crosby for much of the season, as well as multiple injuries to top defenseman Kris Letang, while the Flyers have somehow managed to put together a 100-point season without captain Chris Pronger and with a lineup peppered with rookies.
