The Rangers dominated Game 7 early, but the second period has been much more even. The Capitals are generating a lot more pressure on the New York net, and they've really started to grind things out along the boards with more success.
The Rangers' top line is no longer running all over Washington, and all four lines for the Caps are putting shots on Henrik Lundqvist. Yes, even Mike Knuble and the fourth line.
New York isn't sitting back by any stretch of the imagination, but they're certainly beginning to lose control of the game a bit. Luckily for the Caps, Braden Holtby is just as much on his game as Lundqvist.
