Adam Henrique scored just 1:03 into overtime of Game 6 to give the Devils the win and advance New Jersey to the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Devils jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in Game 6, but New York battled back in the second period to tie the game. The game remained tied through the third period, but Henrique rammed home a loose puck in front of the net early in the overtime period to give New Jersey the win.
New York out shot the Devils 35-29, but New Jersey was able to win thanks in large part to a great performance from Martin Brodeur. Brodeur finished Game 6 with 33 saves.
New Jersey advances to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they will face the Los Angeles Kings.
