The New York Rangers are just one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference finals. The Washington Capitals will try to keep their season alive while on home ice on Wednesday night.

On Monday night, the New York Rangers pulled off what seemed to be an impossible feat when they scored a tying goal against the Washington Capitals with just 6.6 seconds left in regulation and managed to win in overtime. The victory gave the Rangers a 3-2 edge in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series and put the Caps on the brink of elimination.

On Wednesday night, the series heads back to D.C. and the Capitals will have to do everything they can to win the game, or else their season will come to a sudden and disappointing end. If the Rangers win, they will head to the conference finals for the first time since the 1996-97 season.

Wednesday's Game 6 will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC Sports Network (formerly Vs.).
