The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed Keith Aulie to a one-year deal, according to a report.

As NHL free agency is getting underway following the 2012 NHL Draft, the Tampa Bay Lightning have come to an agreement to re-sign defenseman Keith Aulie, according to a report by Jesse Spector.

The 6'6 23-year-old spent the 2011 season with the Lightning after being acquired from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Originally, Aulie was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 2007 NHL Draft.

Aulie played in 19 games for the Lighting this past season, picking up just one point and 13 penalty minutes. He has spent just two seasons at the NHL level before settling in with the Lightning in 2011 and now returning for the 2012 NHL season.
