It was likely the prettiest goal of this Stanley Cup Finals, and it featured the Los Angeles Kings completely picking apart the Devils defense on the rush with unbeatable precision.
Anze Kopitar came through the neutral zone and made a cross-ice pass to Justin Williams, who gained the offensive zone. Williams made a deft little drop pass off the boards to Dustin Brown, who found a streaking Kopitar at the back post. The perfect pass from Brown was easily deposited top shelf by Kopitar and the Kings have a 2-0 lead.
Kopitar beat Zach Parise along the left wing side, and perhaps Parise could have been a little quicker there, but it's tough for the Devils to not just tip their hat to Los Angeles on this one. A beautiful goal by the Kings has spawned absolute control for the Western Conference Champions.
