Full 2012-13 college hockey TV schedule: At least 50 games on national TV this season

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Looking for a hockey fix in a potential NHL-less fall? Here are a few networks televising the college game.

As day after day passes by, we get closer and closer to a fall without NHL hockey. While that will inevitably sadden us, it doesn't mean that the game disappears. Hockey lives on, always, and as such, the TV networks are preparing a lot more college hockey action than usual (or perhaps this is the regular amount and we're just noticing it more) to fill the void.

Four national cable networks (NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Fox College Sports and the Big Ten Network) will combine to televise at least 50 games this season, while the ESPN family of networks will -- as usual -- cover the NCAA Tournament in late March and early April. The schedule could always increase, too, as networks like NBC and the NHL Network scramble for programming as the lockout goes on longer and longer. We shall see.

For now, here's the 2012-13 college hockey TV schedule, with times listed in ET.
