Two members of the Philadelphia Flyers, Maxime Talbot and Bruno Gervais, have organized the Tournée des Joueurs. The Tournée is a chance for 20 NHL players to travel and play exhibition games in front of small crowds.
The tour began on Thursday in Quebec at the Complex Multisports de Chateauguay. Talbot scored twice as his red "Montreal" team defeated the white "Quebec" team, 7-4. Roughly 1,250 fans payed $20 at the door to watch the game at the multi-rink arena, according to the AP.
Next week, the tour will head to Saint-Hyacinthe and Sherbrooke.
The red squad was lead by Chicago goalie Corey Crawford and Maxime Talbot. The team included Brian Gionta, Andre Markov, Josh Gorges, Bruno Gervais, Alexandre Burrows, Guillaume Latendresse, Colby Armstrong, Mathieu Darche, Derick Brassard and Steve Begin.
The white team featured LA Kings Simon Gagne and Jonathan Bernier, along with Patrice Bergeron, Steve Bernier, David Desharnais, Lars Eller, Travis Moen, Brandon Prust, Francis Bouillon, Roman Hamrlik, Benoit Pouliot, and Mathieu Perreault.
