Detroit Red Wings LW Henrik Zetterberg won't be playing any hockey in the event of a NHL lockout.

Detroit Red Wings LW Henrik Zetterberg won't be playing any hockey in the event of a NHL lockout. Zetterberg, the 2008 Conn Smythe Trophy winner and likely the next Red Wings' next captain, played with Timra IK in the Swedish league during the last NHL lockout, but has elected to not play in any league should the NHL lockout its players this season according to Ansar Khan.

Other Red Wings' Danny Cleary, Jakub Kindl, and Jan Mursak all plan to play in Europe, as will Red Wings star Pavel Datsyuk.
