Jenner, a signed junior prospect, will return to the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League to play out the remainder of the season. Columbus selected him with the No. 39 overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft. He was also a member of Team Canada for the 2013 World Junior Championship.
Erixon will join Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Falcons. The 21-year-old blue liner was acquired as one of the pieces in the Rick Nash trade from this past offseason.
Originally drafted with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames, Erixon refused to play for the team and was traded to the New York Rangers. Last season, he played 18 games with the club but spent the majority of the season as a member of the team's AHL affiliate, the Connecticut Whale.
