Kari Lehtonen was taunted for losing a shutout bid, so he turned to the easiest comeback in the book.
Kari Lehtonen pitched 59 minutes, 57 seconds of shutout hockey against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday. His Dallas Stars won the game, 2-1, but that doesn't mean that Damien Brunner's goal in the waning seconds was any less frustrating.
It seems, however, that Red Wings fans thought it was a bit bigger a deal than it was. Some behind Lehtonen's goal were clearly taunting the Stars goalie after the goal, and well ... he gave it right back. Watch at the :12 second mark above.
