Vincent Lecavalier makes early impact in Flyers debut

It didn't take Vincent Lecavalier very long to make an impact in his debut with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Philadelphia Flyers have quite a few new faces in their lineup this season and it didn't take long for their prized offseason addition, forward Vincent Lecavalier, to make an impact.

Lecavalier helped cap off a pretty dominant opening period against the Toronto Maple Leafs when he set up Brayden Schenn for a power-play goal, thanks to this beautiful feed from behind the net that sailed right through Cody Franson's skates.

So, yeah, Lecavalier is still pretty good at hockey. The Flyers carried the play for the duration of the period and were constantly in the Toronto zone buzzing around Jonathan Bernier. It was only a matter of time until they were able to break through.

The Flyers signed Lecavalier after the remainder of his contract was bought out by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
