Ducks vs. Wild: Mathieu Perreault scores overtime winner for Anaheim

Hannah Foslien

Anaheim eked out a 4-3 win thanks to a timely spill from a Wild defenseman.

The Minnesota Wild's late comeback try against the Anaheim Ducks fell just short at the exact moment Jared Spurgeon fell down.

Facing a two-goal deficit in the early stages of the second period, the Wild crawled all the way back to tie it with a goal from Zach Parise in the third period. Minnesota held its ground as Anaheim pushed back, but a fatal slip up by Spurgeon allowed Mathieu Perreault to notch the game-winner.

We can only hope Perreault is doing his famous celebration in the locker room.
