Panthers vs. Rangers: Tim Thomas punches J.T. Miller

USA TODAY Sports

Same old Tim Thomas.

The game between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers is getting pretty chippy. The Rangers are frustrated with the lack of results against such a struggling team, and it's showing.

Meanwhile, Panthers goalie Tim Thomas is still the same old grumpy man we've come to know and love. The Rangers drove down the ice with the puck in the third period, and Brian Boyle put the puck on net. J.T. Miller drove to the net and collided with Thomas in the crease. Thomas let him know he didn't appreciate it.

Yeah, that's not allowed. Both players received minor penalties.
