Nashville Predators forward Eric Nystrom found himself in a fight with Tanner Glass late in the second period on Friday night.
This was not a good decision.
Nystrom suffered a cut on his face (which can be seen on the photo above) and was knocked to the ice during the bout. After it was over he had to be helped to the locker room as he could barely stand up.
He did not return to the game with with what the Predators called "an upper body injury."
The Predators signed Nystrom as a free agent this past summer to add some depth to their forward group. In his first 18 games with the team he has four goals with one assist.
