Sharks vs. Blackhawks: Joe Thornton levels Nick Leddy

Thearon W. Henderson

Welcome to next week, Leddy!

Joe Thornton is a big man. There's no denying this. The San Jose Sharks captain also oozes skill and shows flashes of tenacity, so he's not the guy you want to get in the way of.

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Nick Leddy learned this the hard way. He was caught flat-footed in the first period on Sunday and paid the price.

Luckily Leddy appeared to be fine, but we're not entirely sure because he hasn't returned to the solar system yet.
