Maple Leafs vs. Canucks: James Reimer makes miraculous save on Alex Burrows

Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports

Save of the year?

On Friday, Dallas Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen made a save that was described as "like a spider monkey with the full scissor-kick."

Not to be outdone, Toronto goalie James Reimer submitted his own save of the year candidate on Saturday. Early in the first period, Vancouver Canucks forward Alexandre Burrows found a juicy rebound and a gaping net. Somehow, some way, Reimer managed to make a ridiculous toe save.

Sure, Reimer eventually gave up four goals in Toronto's 4-0 loss. But his first few minutes were awesome.
