Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews scored the ugliest goal of his career on Saturday, all thanks to Erik Cole's lack of navigational skills.
Chicago trailed Dallas 2-1 when they stormed up the ice on a counterattack in the second period. Something about the Blackhawks' rush into the Stars' zone befuddled Cole, because he ended up inside his own net with the puck.
Just like that, the game was tied. The Blackhawks have taken a 3-2 lead midway through the second period.
