Of all the moves the Toronto Maple Leafs made this past offseason the signing of Mason Raymond was probably the one that received the least amount of fanfare. It also might be the best move they made.
With 25 points in his first 36 games he's the third-leading scorer on the team, and has been doing it for a pretty good price. Good move.
What's not a good move is whatever it was he tried to do in the first period on Thursday night against the Coyotes.
