The Schenn brothers had a crazy third period in Vancouver

The Schenn brothers giveth, and they taketh away.

The last four minutes of the third period in Vancouver on Monday night resulted in quite a roller coaster of emotions for the Schenn brothers, and an example of the very best and the very worst they have to offer the Philadelphia Flyers.

Let's start with Luke, the defenseman, that experienced that helpless feeling every player has at some point in their career when a puck goes in your own net. After Steve Mason failed to handle a Daniel Sedin shot, the loose puck bounced off of Schenn and past the glove of Mason to give Vancouver a late lead.

But never fear, Philadelphia, because Brayden Schenn was still there to come to the rescue to salvage the night, tying the game with just 46.8 seconds to play off of the offensive zone face-off for his eighth goal of the season.

The Flyers would go on to win in the shootout thanks to a goal from Vincent Lecavalier.
