Check out this rocket of a shot from Johan Franzen

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Spor

Johan Franzen scored his eight goal of the season and it was an absolute rocket of a slap shot. He got all of this thing.

With Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg out of the lineup the Detroit Red Wings are going to need their secondary players to step up in a big way.

During the first two periods of their game against Philadelphia on Wednesday night it was Tomas Tatar (two goals) and Johan Franzen rising to the occasion, with this blast from Franzen breaking a 1-1 tie midway through the second.

This is what you call "getting all of it." Seriously, this is an absolute rocket.

That was Franzen's eighth goal of the season and his second in as many games.

Unfortunately for the Red Wings that would be the highpoint of their night as they allowed five straight goals in what turned out to be a 6-3 loss.
