Bruins vs. Sabres: "Oh my god," Patrice Bergeron scores the game winner

Patrice Bergeron scores the go-ahead goal in the third period.

On the power play midway through the third period, Boston's Patrice Bergeron scored a goal to put his team up by one, and then was captured saying what appears to be "Oh my god" as his teammates joined him to celebrate.

Mike Weber's delay of game penalty put Buffalo on the penalty kill, and Bergeron was able to jump on a loose puck after it bounced off the end boards and put it past goaltender Ryan Miller.

Bergeron has been struggling offensively this season. Though leading the team in shots with thirty-one heading into Sunday night's game, he had only scored a single goal prior to this beauty. His 3.2% shooting percentage is well below his career average of 9.8%, so perhaps Patrice is giving thanks to the deity of his choosing for this goal in hopes that his bad luck is starting to turn around.

Bergeron's tally ended up being the game's winning goal. "Oh my god" indeed.
