Five Answers
Prior to last night's games, we presented five burning questions regarding the night's action. Here are your cool, soothing answers.
1. Will the Chicago Blackhawks extend their 15-game point streak to 16 games?
2. Will the San Jose Sharks register their first win in February?
3. Will the St. Louis Blues' travel complications affect their play on Tuesday night?
Yeah, they did! The Blues definitely looked tired in the third period, which is when the Sharks scored the game-winning goal.
4. Will Ben Scrivens and the Toronto Maple Leafs keep their shutout streak going?
He didn't do it! Not even close, in fact. Scrivens' shutout streak ended at a little more than 154 minutes. He allowed four goals on 13 shots in the Toronto loss.
5. Will the Montreal Canadiens extend their winning streak to five games?
It was by many accounts a pretty boring affair, but the Canadiens triumphed in the end over the Rangers, who were missing Rick Nash as he sat out the game with an undisclosed injury.
