The Montreal Canadiens could get a big boost on Sunday with the return of Max Pacioretty yet now face the top goaltender in the NHL this season in Craig Anderson.

The top defensive team in hockey will take on one of the highest scoring in the NHL when the Ottawa Senators travel to Montreal to face the Canadiens on Sunday afternoon.

The Senators, led by goaltender Craig Anderson, have allowed just 1.62 goals per game this season en route to a 5-2-1 start to the season. Anderson leads the NHL with a 0.99 goals-against average and an astronomical .968 save percentage, and stopped 34-of-35 shots on Friday night in a 1-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Senators, despite the shutout loss, are averaging a healthy 3.00 goals per game while clipping at 25 percent on the power play.

The Canadiens, meanwhile, celebrated the return of defenseman P.K. Subban on Saturday by putting up six goals in a win over the Buffalo Sabres. The Habs are No. 6 in the NHL in scoring at 3.43 goals per game and No. 7 in the NHL on the power play, and could see the return of 2011-2012 leading scorer Max Pacioretty, who underwent an appendectomy on Jan. 26.

The Habs and Sens met on Jan. 30 with Ottawa coming out on top in a dominant 5-1 win at home, with Anderson stopping 31-of-32 for the win.

Puck is set to drop at 2 p.m. ET with coverage on CBC and RDS.
