NHL schedule, starting goalies for Wednesday: Bruins, Canadiens meet on national stage

The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens will headline a three game night in the NHL on Wednesday.

There are only three games scheduled in the NHL on Wednesday night, with the nationally televised contest between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens headlining the evening.

Playing in NBC Sports Network's "Rivalry Wednesday" broadcast, the two Northeast Division foes will each be bringing six wins into the contest and are only separated in the standings by a single point.

The other games will feature Western Conference showdowns, as the Anaheim Ducks challenge the Colorado Avalanche and the Edmonton Oilers host the Dallas Stars.
