Koivu, Parise, and Suter combine for a perfect passing goal.
Well that certainly didn't look like a Minnesota Wild goal, now did it?
Mikko Koivu scored for the Wild on a crisp passing play to tie the game against the Colorado Avalanche at three. Off-season acquisitions Zach Parise and Ryan Suter had the assists.
This is the kind of perfectly-executed offensive play that you just didn't see from the Minnesota Wild in years past. Their bold moves over the summer to bring in Parise and Suter have been paying off for them so far this year. With a win tonight and a loss by the Vancouver Canucks in their game against the Nashville Predators, the Wild can regain the top spot in the Northwest division.
